The Electrical Circuit Lab was developed by the University of Twente, who is the coordinator of the Next-Lab project. This year, the lab was selected as a winner of the 2018 GOLC International Online Laboratory Award (in the Simulated Experiments category).
Are you a teacher? Do you want to enrich your classes with exciting experiments and appealing demonstrations? Do you want your students to get hands-on experience of doing science? Then join the Go-Lab Initiative and find out how to use the Go-Lab Ecosystem!
Starting from June 15, 2017, the online campaign “Meet and greet Go-Lab Ambassadors” will be taking place in the social media channels of the Go-Lab community. We will introduce the Ambassadors active in different European countries, so you will have the opportunity to meet the Ambassador from your country and keep in touch!
The Next-Lab Summer School will be conducted from 9th to 14th of July 2017 in Marathon, Greece. This year's Summer School focuses on the optimal use of virtual experiments and remote laboratories and provides deeper insights on inquiry-based, interdisciplinary science teaching techniques. We invite you to apply for participation by 15th of May 2017!
The Go-Lab Ambassadors are lead teachers promoting Inquiry-Based Science Education in their countries and training their colleagues in the use of online laboratories and the Go-Lab Sharing and Authoring platforms. We are happy to announce the Go-Lab Ambassadors who have been selected for 18 pilot countries.
Thanks to so many great and engaged teachers and Go-Lab users, our Repository Golabz meanwhile counts more than 500 Inquiry Learning Spaces (ILSs). As the 500th ILS has been published, we decided to conduct an interview with its author - Stella Constantinou, a primary school teacher from Cyprus - and share it with the Go-Lab community.
The Next-Lab Project (Next Generation Stakeholders and Next Level Ecosystem for Collaborative Science Education with Online Labs) is a European research project focusing on introducing inquiry-based science education (IBSE) in schools. It has started on 1st of January 2017 and is the main sponsor of the Go-Lab Portal continuing the successful Go-Lab initiative.
